Troubleshooting Common Slang Platform Issues

Last updated: June 6, 2026

If you're experiencing issues with the Slang platform, here are some common problems and their solutions:

Unable to Save Changes in Dashboard

If you're unable to save changes (such as updating greetings) in your Slang dashboard:

  • Clear your browser cache and cookies

  • Try using a different browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox)

  • Refresh the page and try again

If the issue persists, it may be a temporary platform issue that resolves automatically. Contact support if the problem continues for an extended period.

Dashboard Access Issues

If you're unable to access your Slang dashboard:

  • Verify you're using the correct login credentials

  • If you're getting errors on the login page, try accessing your dashboard using your direct location URL (format: https://ilove.slang.ai/location/[your-location-id]/concierge) and bookmark it for future access

  • Check if your account needs to be reactivated (common after construction periods or service changes)

  • Ensure you have the proper permissions for your location

Contact support with your location details if you continue to have access issues.

Phone System Issues

If calls aren't coming through to your restaurant:

  • Test both your main number and Slang number

  • Check if you're receiving error messages like "Feature Not Available" or "Professional License Required"

  • Contact your phone provider to ensure your secondary line is properly configured

  • Verify that call forwarding from Slang to your restaurant line is working

Phone issues often require coordination between Slang support and your phone provider to resolve.

Insights Page Unavailable

If you see an error message when trying to access the Insights page, this typically indicates the page is temporarily under maintenance. The page should be restored shortly. Contact support if the issue persists beyond a few hours.
