Go Live Checklist
Last updated: June 4, 2026
Welcome to Slang!
You’ve already spoken to our team, so by now we have reviewed your links, phone numbers, and concierge configurations. Here’s what’s next:
Steps to go live
Give your new Slang concierge a call to make sure you like your selected voice, and that we’re pronouncing your venue name correctly!
Head to the Marketplace and make sure your integrations are all set up.
Ensure the right members of your team have access to Slang.
Launch! Either configure Call Forwarding with your phone provider, or update online sources with your Slang number.
Important: Before configuring call forwarding, verify that your public-facing phone number is not already programmed into Slang for topics like “Talk to a Human” or other staff transfers. Using the same number for both will create an endless forwarding loop. If this applies to you, either: (1) update your public listings (like Google Business Profile) to display your Slang number instead, or (2) change affected topics in your Slang dashboard to route to email instead of phone, then set up call forwarding through your carrier.
Opt out of Google's automated calls and messages to avoid interference with the AI concierge — learn how.
Important: Please Notify your Slang Implementation Project Manager (IPM) as soon as you have gone live.
Your IPM will coordinate an Initial Results Review with you for two weeks from your Go Live date!
