Seasonal Events
Last updated: March 31, 2025
Slang is trained to recognize calls about Seasonal Events - give your concierge all the details!
Our Seasonal Events topic is meant to be configured with the next upcoming holiday's special hours, menu, promotions, or anything else you think your callers need to know.
Here's how to make sure your Concierge stays up-to-date:
Log in at ilove.slang.ai
Navigate to the Concierge tab
Scroll down to Seasonal Events in the "Services" section.
Write a brief description of your seasonal offering to be spoken on the phone. Be sure to listen to the preview!
Add a link to a special menu, or a direct link to book or purchase tickets.
Tip: You can set events to expire automatically so callers aren't hearing about past events.

Once the event expires, the topic will be marked Unconfigured (see below) and callers asking about seasonal events will hear, "It sounds like you're asking about upcoming seasonal events, but my team hasn't shared that information with me yet."

When you have the next event to promote, don't forget to add those details to your Slang concierge!
