This is a guide to your Account Settings page and how to use it.

How do I find it?

Users in North America with the Owner or Administrator role will find the Account Settings page in the "More" menu of their dashboard:

What will I find?

Define the Emergency Fallback Numbers for each venue in your Slang account.

Slang is a software service, and we're happy to boast 99.9% uptime! However, we know that even one hour of disruption in phone service in a year can result in frustrated diners. Please ensure that each of your Slang Concierges is able to maintain the connection between your diners and your business by keeping these numbers up to date.

Control your Call Audio Recording settings.

Slang will record calls between your guests and Slang for quality control and auditing purposes. Premium tier customers will also have access to recordings of all calls end-to-end, even in cases where guests are transferred to your staff.

We surface recordings in Smart Inbox, and display guest-to-staff call transcripts as well. We will use guest-to-staff recordings to evaluate ongoing guest needs.

If you prefer that Slang does not record calls that are transferred out of Slang, please adjust this setting. This will affect some of the features we are able to deliver.

Please Note: The Call Audio Recording setting is applied on a venue basis, and will not apply automatically to your entire account from this page. You will need to adjust this setting for every Slang concierge that you have live with us if you want to apply it for your account as a whole.
