What can the integration do for my guests?

Slang's integration with Perfect Venue allows your AI Concierge to add event leads directly to Perfect Venue by collecting guest details over the phone.

What is the caller experience?

Guests who ask about private events hear a short introduction, then answer a few questions (occasion, date, start time, party size, description, name) that populate the event lead in Perfect Venue.

How does Slang get a caller's email address?

After the call, guests get a text confirming their submission plus a secure link to add their email address.

Because Perfect Venue uses email address, not phone number, as its unique identifier for contacts, a caller's very first call may create a separate contact until their email is added. Once the email is on file, later calls from the same caller reuse that same contact.

Will I still get automated emails for each lead in my Perfect Venue Inbox?

No. We acknowledge that there’s a Perfect Venue email automation that won’t function the same for Slang-collected leads via voice. This is due to the fact that we don’t have an email address upon lead collection, it’s added to the contact asynchronously. However, you can still receive an email for each lead via Slang’s Conversation Topic Alerts feature.

If you'd like an email for every Successful Lead submitted to mimic the Perfect Venue automation, go to the Settings page in Slang.

1. Under the Emails section, make sure the email address that you'd like us to use is saved.

2. Go to Conversation Topic Alerts and Create one for the Successful Lead tag, choosing your preferred email address.

3. That's it! The next call that results in a lead in Perfect Venue will come to your inbox with a description and link back to Smart Inbox.

Conversation Alerts is available as an upgrade. If you do not have this feature, please reach out to your account manager or support@slang.ai.

Where can I see that an event lead came from Slang in Perfect Venue?

Slang-generated event leads show Slang AI as the source. You can find and filter by this under Reports → Events, and download the report.

Can the Slang Concierge forward private events calls directly to me?

Yes — set Private Events to ring through to you on a schedule of your choosing, and let Slang answer calls outside those hours.

Why can't I select the Perfect Venue Connect button?

If your tile is grayed out, contact your account manager to get it added to your account.

How will I know it's working?

How do I disconnect the Perfect Venue integration?

Event leads appear on your Perfect Venue home screen right away. Note that automated emails in Perfect Venue will not be sent at this time — if you'd rather get notified immediately by email for every event lead, turn on Conversation Alerts.

Log into ilove.slang.ai, go to Marketplace, click Manage on the Perfect Venue tile, then Disconnect. Your Private Events topic will revert to Unconfigured — remember to choose a new handling option.
